The share market historically out-performs other asset classes.
It is highly liquid, transparent and flexible, has greater control and tax benefits.

1. Learn the lessons of the market otherwise the market will teach you.
2. Don’t try to beat the market
3. It’s OK to be wrong, but when you are, cover your assets!

 

A simple strategy:

1. Choose a few stocks that are likely to produce above average returns over the long term.
2. Concentrate the bulk of your investment in those stocks.
3. Have the fortitude to remain steady.
4. Insure yourself (buy a put option.)
